About
I was challenged to design a floor lamp for an office space. Since offices can be isolating after long periods of work, I aimed to create a companion floor lamp that adds warmth to office spaces.
Concept Iteration
I first iterated on the concept of an anthropomorphic form. I used gravity sketch to quickly iterate, and applied and rendered a black metal material in KeyShot.
Finalized Concept
After revising my initial concepts, I came to a final design which incorporated greater structural support, anthropomorphic ratios, and the golden spiral.
